Boltaron® 4332 sheet’s unique combination of mechanical properties, exceptional impact strength, resistance to chemicals and abrasion, and its flame test ratings have made it a preferred material for the most rigorous application conditions.

With an Izod impact rating of 20 ft-lbs/in. (1060 J/m), this proprietary extruded thermoplastic alloy delivers toughness and durability well above most materials in its class, even in frigid end use conditions.

It also resists deformation under load at elevated temperatures, and withstands acidic and caustic chemicals and cleaners over the entire pH range. Boltaron 4332 also affords the widest range of custom colors and textures available in the industry. Its abrasion resistance, higher than that of stainless steel, enhances and helps maintain its appearance.

Thermoforming and fabrication benefits include its lot-to-lot consistency, and the ability to maintain uniform wall thickness in deep draws and sharp corners. Boltaron 4332 is also non-hygroscopic, eliminating the need for costly and time-consuming pre-drying.

Conventional tools work well for sawing, drilling, tapping, routing and machining the material. It can also be heat welded, adhesive bonded and mechanically fastened, and can be brake-formed in thin gauges.
